Salone dei Cinquecento, Palazzo Vecchio

The opening session of the conference will take place in the Salone dei Cinquecento at Palazzo Vecchio, in the very heart of Florence. This monumental hall, located in the city’s historic town hall, is one of the most important civic spaces of the Italian Renaissance, renowned for its impressive dimensions, coffered ceiling, and large fresco cycles celebraMng the history of Florence.

Santa Teresa Campus, University of Florence

The parallel sessions of the conference will be hosted at the Santa Teresa teaching complex of the University of Florence. Housed in a former historic convent later converted into a modern university campus, Santa Teresa is home to the School of Architecture and offers lecture halls, studios, and learning spaces in a setting that combines layered history with contemporary design.
